Fabulous Victorian (probably French), 10ct (tested) rose gold filled (has a lovely rich pink hue and is what is known in the UK as rolled gold), very fancy link pocket watch chain/Albert with well made swivel dog clip and large key T bar.
C ~ 1890's.
Measures; 33cm / 13" total length and weighs respectable 18.1 grams.
Very unusual intertwined, fancy, open wire work, oblong shaped links (measure 8mm width) with highly polished roller links in between - all have a lovely 'fluid' feel to them and reflect the light beautifully.
Robust and very well made swivel dog clip to one end (works correctly and note the lovely engine turned collar) which is suspended from a short length of oval link chain and large key T bar (measures 5.3cm length) to the other end which is again suspended from a short length of oval link chain.
The key T bar still ratchets correctly (so stopping the watch chain from getting twisted up when winding your pocket watch).
Also has a short length of fancy link chain just below the T bar with large round link to end - so allowing the wearer to display a fob if desired.
The round end link near to the dog clip is stamped to one side with a makers mark - unfortunately I am unable to decipher.
Excellent bright, clean condition with no damage and just a tiny bit of wear to the dog clip commensurate with age.
Will arrive in a new presentation/display box and be very securely and safely packed.
