This is an antique late 19th century Eastlake Victorian carved wood clock or display wall shelf.

I would estimate it date circa 1890s.

It measures 11 5/8 inches tall (29.5 cm). It is 7 7/8 inches wide and protrudes out from the wall 3 5/8 inches (20 cm, 9.2 cm). The top of the shelf is beveled and curved so its measurement varies going around. It's a little smaller than the width and depth and measures approximately 7 inches x 3 inches (17.8 cm x 7.6 cm).

I believe it is made of walnut, which was very popular at the time. There is a carved acorn decoration on the front and two acorns on the bottom.

There is some light wear to the piece. There are some nicks going around the hanging hole on top. There are a few scattered old worm holes. On the front of the shelf on the left side at the bottom of the bevel, there is a small chip to the wood. This doesn't really stand out much though. There are a few scattered light scratches/scuff marks to the piece, but overall it's in very good condition.

It weighs a little under 9 ounces (250 g).
