These jeans show up as different blues. The jeans are really a dusty blue or a stone washed blue and most like the third image, the one with the birds and swirls. There is no brand or size label though I remember wearing size 11 at the time.  Rather amazingly, since they were favorites over 40 years ago, they still fit me. The point is I am wearing size 2 Carhartt jeans as a reference. Sizes are all over the place now, it seems so the yard stick is there to measure also.

The jeans are worn high up above the waist almost where an empire waist dress would put the waist. It was a look at the time. They are also very long but were worn with this tall platform shoes. Oh My.

The jeans were put away with 4 buttons and indeed they do need at least one of those to be sewn on. These are the jeans that my husband remembers when he remembers us being young. If you haven't noticed, his jeans from the time are also listed for sale. His were red, white and blue. We must have turned heads when together.
