Aspirin Protect is a medicine that is available without a prescription. Most common uses are: unstable angina, acute myocardial infarction, prevention of recurrent myocardial infarction after surgery or other interventions on arterial blood vessels. It is also suitable in case of: prevention of transient ischemic attacks and cerebral infarction, for reducing the risk of primary myocardial infarction in persons with cardiovascular risk factors, e. Diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia, hypertension, obesity, smoking, elderly.

Active ingredients:

Aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid) 100mg

dosage:

If not prescribed otherwise recommends the following dosages:

Unstable angina pectoris

The daily dose ranges between 75 mg and 300 mg of acetylsalicylic acid.
For better tolerance recommended daily dose of 1 tablet AspirinProtect (equivalent to 100 mg of acetylsalicylic acid).

Acute myocardial infarction

The daily dosage ranges between 100 mg and 160 mg of acetylsalicylic acid. Recommended daily dose of 1 tablet AspirinProtect (equivalent to 100 mg of acetylsalicylic acid).

Profilaftika of reinfarction

Recommended daily dose of 3 tablets AspirinProtect (equivalent of acetyl salicylic acid).

 After surgery or other interventions on arterial blood vessels (eg. ACVB, PTCA);
The daily dosage ranges between 100 mg and 300 mg of acetylsalicylic acid.

For better tolerability recommended daily dose of 1 tablet AspirinProtect
(Equivalent to 100 mg of acetylsalicylic acid).

Prevention of transitional ishempchni attacks and cerebral infarction after onset of prodromal symptoms.

The daily dose ranges between 30 mg and 300 mg of acetylsalicylic acid.
For better tolerance recommended daily dose of 1 tablet AspirinProtect (equivalent to 100 mg of acetylsalicylic acid).

warnings:

Do not use Aspirin Protect:

If you are allergic (hypersensitivity) to aspirin, to salicylates or any of the other ingredients of Aspirin Protect;

If you have active ulcers of the stomach or duodenum;

If you have abnormally increased bleeding tendency.

Without consulting a doctor Aspirin should not be taken in the first and second trimester of pregnancy.

Small amounts of acetylsaiicylic acid and its metabolites pass into breast milk. As far not been reported any adverse effects usually do not need to stop breast-feeding during short-term treatment of pain or fever with Aspirin in your recommended dose. If - in exceptional cases - are prescribed long-term therapy or larger doses (more than 6 tablets per day) should be considered early termination of breastfeeding.
