This is a beautiful, fine Brussels point de gaze and applique lace lappet / scarf. It measures 47 ins x 5.6 ins.  Pale ivory colour. Slightly clumsy join to the centre - may be an adaptation of a larger piece. Apart from this excellent condition. It belonged to the 19th century portrait artist Nina Fagnani, passed down through the family.
