These great checkbook wallets were made from himalayan hemp in the Kingdom of Nepal. The gentleman who made it is an excellent tailor whom I had the pleasure of meeting on my overland travels throughout asia. Both the hemp material, and the workmanship are of high quality. The inside of the wallet is lined for a soft feel, and all of the seams are well stitched for maximum durability and long lasting use. In the closed position, the wallet measures approximately 9 1/2" long x 4 1/2" wide. When opened, it measures approximately 9 1/2" long x 10 1/2" wide. Inside there are 4 card slots, 2 open pockets, and two zippered pockets. The wallet closes with a strip of velcro that runs the length of the wallet. A great wallet!
