as it has a greater capacity to keep out water, sand and dirt

A rubber sealed bearing is far superior in this application to a metal shielded bearing which has a metal seal

In addition, the bearings supplied in this set are 440 grade stainless steel

This gives you the best balance between the hardness of steel and the rust-proof qualities of stainless steel

 The bearings come pre-greased and ready for fitting
