this item cropped up at an antique sale last year.

i bought it because i was interested in finding what type of guitar it was.

the glasbil menges style of guitar follows the bench mark of german guitars, and in fact follows the early 1800's martin guitars as he was trained in this style in his early learning days in germany.

this i feel is a slovac guitar, folk, and typical of the late 19th and early 20th.

they are not thick on the ground, and sound very big for their size.

the resonances is amazing during performance.

this one has the need for the neck resetting as it is bowed out somewhat and catches with a buzz or two at the higher end, but not a big job to have done.

a fabulous sounding and looking guitar, and really pleasant to play.

it will be packed very well indeed to ensure safe transit...

more images of the guitar will be added to the site over the next few days...
