As you can see from the test report below, most of the light emitted is in the 365 Nanometre range, but if it is a lower quality tube like Halophosphor then only some of the light is within this range. As a result, the intensity of light will directly influence the performance of the tube. This new generation tube not only emits a more intense 365nm UV light but also has increased life compared to standard Halophosphor ultraviolet tubes commonly offered by other sellers. Our premium quality fluorescent tubes are produced by the same manufacturer of many leading worldwide brand bulbs, using the same quartz tube supplier as Philips. The intense wavelength of 365 nanometres is recommended by the Bank of England for successful counterfeit detection.
