Red Coral Gau Locket
The pictured silver gau pendant was hand crafted in Nepal using 92.5 sterling silver and beautiful red coral and turquoise stones. Gaus (or Ghaus), are 'hidden box' lockets that were traditionally worn by pilgrams and
used to carry an image of Buddha, prayers, or Tibetan medicine. This gau displays the protection prayer mantra of Avolokitshevara, Om mani padme hum. A truly beautiful and unique work of silver art from the Himalayas!
