Terrific vintage plus size dress has a bold pattern in contrasting fabrics. Fabric is tweed wool that has a backing on the inside but is unlined.
Dress zips up the back and is in excellent condition with no moth bites that I can find.
As a bonus I am including the matching jacket although it appears that someone started making it but did not finish it. The jacket has a beautiful silky liner inside and side pockets with the same liner. It just needs to be hemmed up along the bottom edge and along the sleeve cuffs. There is also a trim around the sleeve cuffs that will need to be attached. I don't think that any of the sewing tasks would be terribly tricky. The jacket is 95% completed.
*just to be clear, the dress is totally complete.
It may be shedding a little bit of tiny fibers from the wool but nothing that you can really see, you can just feel it a little on your fingers after handling. However, both pieces are very clean and the dress looks like it was never worn. A dry cleaning may be just what it needs.
