This is a Brand New Intermountain Railway Co. HO Scale FT A/B Locomotive Set with Factory Installed DCC & ESU LokSound in the Atlantic Coast Line (Black) Paint Scheme. The locomotive numbers are 318A & 318B(Item #49233S-04). This model is ready-to-run!
The EMD FT was a 1,350-horsepower (1,010 kW) diesel-electric locomotive produced between November 1939, and November 1945, by General Motors' Electro-Motive Division (the "F" stood for 1400 horsepower (rounded from 1350) and the "T" for twin, as it came standard in a two-unit set). All told 555 cab-equipped A units were built, along with 541 cabless booster B units, for a grand total of 1,096 units. The locomotives were all sold to customers in the United States. It was the first model in EMD's very successful F-unit series of cab unit freight diesels, and was the locomotive that convinced many U.S. railroads that the diesel-electric freight locomotive was the future. Many rail historians consider the FT one of the most important locomotive models of all time.

Hobby Time ships Monday through Friday excluding US holidays.
We prepare, pack and electronically notify our shippers of the shipment
of your order each “Shipping Day” between 11:00 am to 3:00 pm Central time zone
Monday through Friday (excluding holidays and vacations). Orders released for
shipment prior to 3:00pm are processed on that day.
Transfer of Parcels – 7:00pm to 9:30 am
Parcels are delivered to the various carriers after the close of our Business Day, between 7:00 pm of the “Shipping Day” and 9:30 am the following morning.
Worst Case example:
If you place an order and it is released by PayPal for shipment after 3:00 pm on the Friday afternoon before a Monday Holiday, that order will be processed the next “Shipping Day” which is the following Tuesday. (Friday evening, Saturday, Sunday and the Monday holiday are not shipping days)
USPS Express Mail (2-3 business day delivery in the U.S.)
Depending on when your order is submitted and PayPal releases the order to us as “OK to ship”, the time of delivery that eBay estimates may not be valid as the actual “Guaranteed Delivery” time of the United States Postal Service. The difference often varies 24 hours or more.
The USPS only guarantees delivery for an Express Parcel after the shipping fee is paid to them and the label printed by the shipper.
We have no control over the USPS and make NO Guarantees beyond the USPS Guaranteed Delivery time.
When your order is processed during our “Shipping Day” the label is printed and tracking information is provided to you “the customer” through eBay. The customer can then view the actual Guaranteed Delivery time by entering the tracking number on USPS.com.
