This tripod is very clean and in excellent visual and operational condition and will serve you well for many years. It does show some brassing, as to be expected from normal use. The geared columns operate smoothly. The Manfrotto 3036 has retractable spiked feet. It is capable of supporting 26.5 lbs of weight.
You will not be disappointed with this tripod.

A tripod, built for industrial and studio applications, the 3036 is a strong, sturdy and reliable tripod. Standard features include the tandem leg design, built-in spirit level & rubber feet with retractable steel spikes. The geared center column has a non roll-back feature and has a threaded 3/8" mount on the bottom of the column to allow low-angle shots. You can mount the camera upon the column's bottom for low angle work. Strong enough for even the most ardent of medium format applications.
