Up for your auction bids is this new pair of Competition Engineering front (2-piece) motor plates, for Chrysler / Mopar big block V-8 engines (383, 440, and 426).  Constructed from 1/4" thick heat-treated aluminum, these attach to the front of the motor block, behind water pump housing on top side, and to frame rails or inner fender of car on bottom and side, I believe.  Note:  I do have a few machined- down thickness cast iron water pump housings also, if you might need one of these to go along with these plates.  I could put it up for you on another listing if you do, let me know. Not positive, but I believe these may have been Competition Engineering Part # 4008 originally.

Featured motor mount plates are both in very good original condition.  They have both never been mounted or used in any way.  No sign of any damage or modifications. Sorry, I do not have any box or mounting hardware for these anymore.  I will warranty however, they are new and in the condition as stated.  Hardware is pretty minimal on these anyway, and you can get your own, or make your own up fairly easily-- if you are at all mechanical. The plates are overall nice clean aluminum finish, with no corrosion or pitting.  Nice and smooth, other than a few light scratches and a scrape or two.  Pretty minor stuff overall.  All mounting holes are good.

Don't miss these nice original factory pieces to keep your high-horsepower engine from moving under torque, taking the load off of your left side front tire, enabling you to launch and drive straighter!
