I live in a very old house, where there is only one thermostat. If I decide to burn in the fireplace none of the other rooms would be heated, so I bought this portable furnace for the bird's room. It's doing the job and it doesn't bother the birds at all because it runs so quietly.
Got this as a gift after our last infrared heater died. This heater was slightly smaller than our last one but still heats up our living room well. Haven't heard of this brand before but so far so good.
We purchased the light colored one-- it looks cool and works well.
I had a similar heater. I ordered this one to have one on both levels of my home. I was very disappointed that the heater was half the size of the other heater and appeared to have no finish on it. It is very unattractive and my wife hates it. I was disappointed that it did not have a remote control. Since most every one of these heaters have a remote control, it would have been nice if it had been noted in the details that it does not include one.
Great Heater. Cost effective and pretty.
