Specifications / Condition

The F801 is a top spec film SLR that was one of the best Nikon had to offer short of the F4 Pro range.   It was designed for the keen amateur / enthusiast and featured vastly improved AF and metering over earlier models.

This camera is fully working but does have a few cosmetic issues and is priced accordingly.

There are a few small dings in the body to the pentaprism.

The side of the pentaprism has a thin fracture in it.

There are a few scratches on the underside.

None of the above hinder in any way the operation of the camera - the handling is smooth and responsive as you’d expect from Nikon.

It has been tested and is in 100% perfect working order.  

Will your lens fit this camera

All Nikon AF lenses will fit and work on this SLR with the exception of any with the DX descriptor.

DX lenses are designed for use with crop sensor digital SLR's and whilst they may physically fit film cameras they do not work as intended and cannot therefore be recommended.
