This hard-to-find United States Glass Company #61 12" glass candlestick, shelf standard, or display base was manufactured from the 1910s through the 1920s. It is in excellent condition -- with no cracks, heavy nicks, chips, heavy scratches, or dishwasher damage. As might be expected from a large glass item nearly 100 years old, there are a few "signs of life" here and there, as well as a few very, very light "flea bites" along the outer corners of the shaft. There is a little bit of cloudiness on the base which is most likely from having moisture trapped underneath for a long period of time. This does not show from the top of the candlestick.

Overall, it's an impressive piece of glass worthy of returning to work as a shelf standard or candlestick. It could also be electrified and converted into a lamp. It's 12" tall, 3" across the candle cup, and 5" across the base. This candlestick can be seen on page 223 of The Glass Candlestick Book Volume 3.
