CONDITION:
Excellent
vintage condition with no rips, holes or stains. Strong fabric and
seams. Clean and ready to wear! Only minimal signs of wear and wash. Amazing!
CONDITION SCALE:
We grade our items on a scale from 1 through 8.
NOS/New Old Stock. No signs of wear, often with tags still attached.
Mint: little to no signs of wear (Often found in ballgowns and wedding dresses etc...).
Excellent: Only normal signs of overall wear and age such as overall fading, or tiny imperfections.
Great: Normal signs of wear and possible small, yet minor imperfections. Any flaws will be listed.
Good: Obvious signs of wear and age, yet still quite wearable despite a few flaws. Any flaws will be listed.
Decent: Obvious signs of wear and age, minor imperfections that could be repaired if desired etc... Any flaws will be listed.
Fair: Obvious Signs of wear, several imperfections. Would take quite a bit of work to make it wearable again. A project.
Poor: Obvious signs of wear. Imperfections that would make the garment unwearable, and would take a lot of repair, or possibly irreparable. Sold for study, display, or for “parts”.
NOTE: This gradient is for vintage clothing. Excellent new condition will not be the same as excellent vintage condition. It is incredibly rare to find true vintage clothing in “like new” condition, so expect our “Excellent, Great, and Good” items to show normal signs of wear, wash, and age.

Priority
for items of $30 or more at no extra charge. First class for items
under $30 and International packages. Shipping price covers all
packaging materials such as envelopes, tissue, zip-lock bags, tape,
boxes etc..., as well as postage, so sometimes your shipping price
may be a dollar or two more than the postage alone. This is to cover
our cost for materials. Often, with priority shipping, we actually
pay an extra dollar or two out of pocket. We do all we can to keep
shipping prices low. Most of our buy it now items come with free
shipping. Free domestic, priority shipping for orders of $100 or
more!
COMBINED
SHIPPING: We
love giving combined shipping discounts! You may combine two or more
items from auctions ending on different nights as long as the
subsequent auction items end within
ten days of the first item won.
Always let us know if you are waiting for another auction to end
before paying, because if after 5 days we do not hear from you, and
you have not yet paid for your item(s), an unpaid item case will be
opened. Communication is very important!
PAYMENT:
Payment is due within 5 days of auction's end via Paypal. Communication is key if you need more time! If no contact is made, or payment is not received within 5 days of auction's end or purchase, then we will open up an unpaid item case. It is your responsibility to contact us if you need more time. We would always prefer to hold an item a bit longer if needed, rather than open an unpaid item case. Always let us know if you are waiting for another auction to end for a combined shipping discount.
RETURNS:
All
auction sales final with the exception of seriously misrepresented
items. Returns are only accepted for seriously misrepresented items.
Note that most of our
items are vintage and pre-owned, so expect normal signs of wear,
wash, and age in addition to any listed flaws.
No returns for
ill-fitting clothing as all measurements are provided. Compare the
above measurements with your own similar clothing to determine fit.
We carefully measure all of our items.
No returns for color
discrepancies. Colors can show up differently on different computer
monitors. Some blues can look green, some greens can look bluish, or
even brownish, some purples can look blue, and some reds can look
orangey, some ivories can look white, and vice-versa, etc... We do
our best to describe the colors of our items, particularly if we
believe the color may be ambiguous.
We spend quite a bit of time
on our photos, and our listings, but every now and then a hole, or a
stubborn stain may pass us by unnoticed. If we have failed to
describe a flaw in our listing, then please let us know right away,
and we will gladly take the return, and grant you a full refund upon
its arrival. We would never intentionally deceive any of our
customers, and do our best to accurately describe our items.
If
you receive an item, and there is a problem, please let us know
within 24 hours, and have the item back to us within ten days. The
reason for this small amount of return time is that many of our items
are sold on consignment, and we pay our consignees within days after
the item has reached its destination.
