Long spruce center block enhances your tone
You get a lot of tonal bang for your buck with the Gretsch G6137TCB Panther, thanks to its long spruce center block. Running the full length of the body, the center block allows the otherwise hollowbody to resist resonant-frequency feedback. That means you can rock out louder with more gain, without your amplifier squealing out of control. Spruce is a snappy tonewood, too, and since the center block connects with the bridge, the note definition and clarity on the G6137TCB Panther are amazing.

Sweet vintage tone from HS FilterTron pickups
The G6137TCB Panther packs a wide-ranging vintage-style voice, thanks to a pair of HS FilterTron humbucking pickups. These pickups sport larger magnets and pole screws, resulting in higher inductance, which means thicker tone. The bobbins are packed closer together and wound with less magnet wire, which means you don't lose as much high end as other humbuckers.
