It exceeds the Cat 5, Cat 5e, and Cat 6 specifications, achieving Level III accuracy. It also features automatic diagnosing of cable faults, and tells you exactly where the fault is in meters or feet. It is comparable in performance to most desktop models, with the added benefit of being handheld.
With its large on-board memory, you can store a full day's results inside, or detach the multimedia card and plug it into your PC. The DSP-FTA410 Fiber Test Adapter lets you use a DSP-4000 Cable Analyzer test tool to test and certify fiber optic cable installations. The fiber test adapter includes the following features:

Autotest function measures optical power loss (at 850 nm and 1300 nm) and length on dual-fiber multimode links. Provides pass/fail results based on common fiber test standards.
