I love it! I have had ever type of litter box for cats - 40 years of litter boxes including Modcat. This is awesome. Looks beautiful and hides the litter box. I put in an extra large litter box and it fits wonderfully, but I don't use the extra inside panel. You could use the panel if you used a regular size litter box. but I have a multiple cat household so I needed to use the jumbo size box, Here's what box I use with the lid on...Petphabet Jumbo Hooded Cat Litter Box Holds Up to Two Cats Simultaneously,Extra Large! Tons of room and now my house looks great. Stylish!!! Cats love it. So i can honestly recommend this! I think its awesome. Easy Overstock delivery and easy to put together - 30 minutes. Wish I would have purchased sooner - hides the mess!
Arrived 6 days after purchase. Assembled in an hour (female in 20s) but it was honestly smooth sailing. Several friends have seen it since last week and have decided they need to get their own. Cats knew exactly where to go, and while they are a bit tentative, they haven't objected to using it. I'm sure it will pass in a few more days. Feels great to have a living room without the kitty litter being the focal point of the room. With the "entrance" facing away from guests, it looks like a simple chest. Very pleased with this and glad I indulged!
I bought this to hide the cat litter box in my front room. Looks great! Most people think it is just an end table. Nice and roomy inside for the cats to turn around and do their business.
I searched for a long time to find a dark-wood kitty litter cabinet that would fit my ScoopFree Ultra self-cleaning kitty litter. I thought I was settling for this one because what I really wanted was a dark cherry or espresso stain, but when I opened the package I was pleasantly surprised to find the stain much darker than pictured. The cabinet arrived quickly and was packed very well. It was very easy to put together with the enclosed instructions - there are only a couple steps that require two people - and I was able to put it together in an hour or so. My only complaint is that the doors in front don't line up perfectly. They come apart at the bottom by a centimeter or two. I think, however, that I'm the only one who has noticed. Lastly, my cat had no trouble at all getting used to going into the cabinet. All in all, this is a beautiful way to conceal the kitty litter and to control odor and I have recommended it to friends and family who don't have built in spaces in their homes or apartments to conceal the kitty litter.
This unit does a good job of retaining about 90% of the cat litter, was easy to assemble and looks like a nice piece of furniture.
