Their skilled craftsmen with a wealth of detail have hand-carved and hand-painted each model, with great concern for exact accuracy. This 1/48 scale model of NASA's Orion (MPCV) Spacecraft. – the definitive version of America's dedication and perseverance to reach the planet Mars and beyond - makes a great gift for any pilot, aviation, space collector buff, or history fan. The model airplane measures approximately TBD" in length and TBD" in diameter and includes a display stand with a mahogany base. The model is brand new and will be shipped to you, in it's original foam padded factory box.

The Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle (Orion MPCV) is a spacecraft intended to carry a crew of up to four astronauts to destinations at or beyond low Earth orbit (LEO). Currently under development by NASA for launch on the Space Launch System, Orion is intended to facilitate human exploration of asteroids and of Mars, as well as to provide a means of delivering or retrieving crew or supplies from the ISS if needed.
