This is a STOCK photograph... the tin or tins you will get will be the same sort but will have scuffs and rubs in differant places... but will include the rubber tube inside and will have the old tape across the top.
This tin is ALL alluminium lid and base.
I've opened one of the tins ...it has a plain black rubber BLEEDER TUBE as per the wording on the tin lid.. you can see it has still got the tape over it too which also has wording LOCKHEED PART No. 3919/4 BLEEDER TUBE ... below this wording in the centre it says BLEEDER DRAIN TUBE on the lid..... the tape that holds the lid to the base covers this up.
The tin says THE BRITISH MADE - LOCKHEED HYDRAULIC BRAKING SYSTEM - BLEEDER DRAIN TUBE - WARNING use only GENUINE LOCKHEED BRAKING FLUID.
The tins are in overall good condition.
Tin is 7.5cm dia x 1cm deep.....that is 3inch dia x 1/2 inch deep.
The tin(s) you get have NEVER been opened.
They tell me these bleeder tubes are from Jaguar tool rolls, or a spare part in the tool kit....and they are suitable for various Jaguar cars and engine models.. especially if you are into showing off your classic motor... this tin is one of the EARLY types...and used in the Military too for their vehicles..with Jaguar brakes.
This is new unused OLD STOCK from the military stores....with scuffs - rubs - dents - knocks etc... obviously just the tin and tube.. when these were made they were not bothered about the tins getting dented.. this I know is important now to you the collector for your JAGUAR spare parts and tool kit rolls.
I do have some in better condition which you will find in my ebay shop with buy it now - best offers.
