The 950th Anniversary of Battle of Hastings 50p piece (1066 and all that!). This coin is actually a nice, simple "celebration"  or "commemoration" of the event. Spanking new coin for your set. Nice for a collection, I like it.

Study the photos, call in to Whitstable, or ask for close-ups or whatever. These are legit, kosher, pucker, spot-on and perfect.

I'm not a numismatist. I love coins and I buy and sell coins. Grading and pontificating about some ficticious level of finish sends me to sleep. I describe what I see as best I can. If you seek perfection or a statement of grade then, in my best Yoda voice, "This is not the coin/coinset for you". I also don't tell silly lies, don't post cheaply in paper bags and don't end auctions early for someone chancing. There is NO "Buy It Now".

Photos clearly show how it looks. Please read the description or pop around and have a look and check it out. (We're in Whitstable in Kent - BUT that doesn't make it an invitation to Buy-It-Now if you do pop around!).

Please note the postage BEFORE you bid. I post in rough used envelopes, maybe old cardboard, ANYTHING to deter postie from thinking it's a coin!

WITH GREAT SADNESS I have add a Dave rule that is part of the deal, read it carefully:
I work on the basis that IF YOU PAY THEN I WILL POST AS SOON AS I CAN! It's a simple honest philosophy. I don't do the Tick Box exercise of "Mark As Sent" and I don't give a useless-to-the-buyer Tracking Number. YOU BID, YOU WIN, YOU PAY, I POST. Wow, what a simple way to work. Cheers, Dave.

It can be viewed and almost touched at any reasonable time at Whitstable in Kent. It can also be collected from Whitstable if you win it!

Please email any questions through eBay’s "ask the seller" or direct to dave@bookist.com.
