West German Pottery

Vase - By Ruscha - Retro Vintage

Condition

Excellent - No chips or cracks

Size

22 cm in height

Manufacturer

I believe that this is by Ruscha - Founded in the 1900s and closing in 1996. Ruscha is famed for some key developments in West German pottery including the development of the vulcano glaze which marked a move towards thick dripping fat lava glaze (1951 – Otto Gerharz) and the production of probably the most famous form, the 313 designed by Kurt Tschorner.

This means that their items are valued by collectors.
