The story of Breitling watches
began when Léon Breitling opened his first workshop in La Chaux-de-Fonds
in 1884, making pocket watches and chronograph watch designs. His
son, Gaston, initiated the production of Breitling watches in 1914
for the military during WWI. It wasn’t until 1936, when Willy
Breitling (Leon's grandson) launched a chronometer for instrument
panels in aircraft cockpits that Breitling became associated with
flying. Breitling watches have incorporated the super chronograph,
designed especially for pilots, and the GMT, and have been extremely
well received by both pilots and watch aficionados alike. The Breitling

polished stainless steel round case measuring 41mm diameter.
Bidirectional slide rule, speed scale bezel. Autmatiic movement Cabilre
B13 (ETA 7750), power reserve to 42h. Displays a Black dial with silver
tone registers, silver bezel, steel luminescent color hands hour and
minute - indexes markers, chrono seconds at center, luminescent large
Arabic numerals, small Arabic numbers on scales. Hour, minute, 1/4th
second track rim. Date aperture at 3 o'clock, Chronograph function,
minutes counter at the center, totalizer 30 minutes (dial 12) and
totamiseur 12:00 (dial at 6 o'clock). Stainless Steel screw down crown
with logo, chrono pushers. Mineral crystal. Solid caseback is engraved
with the temperature C/F convertion scales. Breitling Black Calf Skin
strap with White stitching and Breitling Stainless Steel Tang
Buckle.Water resistant up to 30 meters (100 Feet). Display signed with

window, three chrono registers with center chrono seconds. Tachymeter
