IF you plan on terrorizing your neighborhood, taking over the local skate park, going for insane jumps, taking the Slash 4x4 (1:10) to it's new limits, not worrying about parts breaking all the time, this Customized Bullet Proof Slash Roller is where you need to start in completing your new ride.  Each vehicle takes us about 8-10 hours of build time and thoroughly inspected before it's shipped out to you.  To have it done yourself, it would cost about $425 + labor(including shipping), if you were to find the lowest parts on eBay.   This is absolutely the best deal found anywhere online!

RPM Front & Rear Shock Towers  (Installed)


Rear Shock TowerProbably the most important part of component included on our Traxxas 1:10 Slash Pro Roller is the RPM front and rear shock towers.  These shock towers are designed to take some serious abuse without failing because nothing is worse than having a part break when you’re out having a fun day, whether it’s at the local track or at your favorite place to bash.

Structurally, RPM shock towers for the Slash 4x4 & Stampede 4x4 are about as strong as they can be, keeping your suspension moving freely without added flex. However, under extreme crash Front Shock Towersituations, the nature of RPM's proprietary materials allows it to give slightly, absorbing that impact energy to prevent damage to the shock tower and reduce the amount of transferred shock energy to the more fragile differential cases. RPM's material then returns back to its original shape almost instantly. No other material can do that!

Additionally, RPM shock towers retain the large dust cover ribs that overlap the tops of the differential case, providing an extra layer of protection against dirt and grit not found on many aftermarket shock towers.

 

                                  

 

RPM Front and Rear A-arms (Installed)

 

RPM's Front and Rear A-arm eliminated the slop in the suspension system, tightening the tolerances around the hinge pins, reduced the fore and aft movement of the A-arms at both the inner hinge pin and at the Black A-arms for the Slash 4x4axle carriers by better than 90% and improved the durability dramatically (they’re made by RPM, enough said). As a bonus, RPM cut 6.5 grams of weight off of each A-arm!  That’s a total loss of just under one ounce of weight simply by replacing your stock A-arms with the RPM versions!

We can’t forget about how much better aesthetically the RPM versions look either. RPM A-arms carry over our traditional look with it's 30 degree leading and trailing edges, and huge bosses for the shocks and sway bar mounts.  RPM A-arms are molded in with blend of incredibly durable nylons and are backed by an industry leading warranty.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Traxxas Slash 4x4 Rear Bearing Carriers (Installed)


Let’s face it: breaking parts sucks! When a part fails, the day is over. Not when your ride is equipped with RPM performance parts! RPM's newest muscle-laden product is a rear bearing carrier for the Slash 4x4. The stock version simply can’t handle Short Course carnage like RPM products can. RPM's version is 100% stock geometry-perfect, but with a few tweaks to improve durability significantly. A ring surrounds the bearing bores, providing additional rigidity while a redesigned camber rod mounting boss helps disperse impact energy more evenly throughout the length of the carrier’s arm. Additionally, the bearing bores in our bearing carriers are designed to hold the bearings tight, meaning absolutely no bearing slop in the bearing bores! RPM also reduced the endplay of the axles by approximately 1/64”, keeping your rear end tracking perfectly like it’s supposed to.

Traxxas Slash 4x4 Front Bumper & Skid Plate (Installed)

RPM's three-piece front bumper / skid plate design for the Traxxas 4x4 is simple, yet strong, effective and highly attractive. It's made of a three-piece design to give the Slash owner the option of full front-end bash-proof and crash-proof protection with the skid plate mount, skid plate and bumper installed or if they’re racing, they can remove the bumper and use the skid plate mount and skid plate as a light-weight alternative bumper / skid plate that sheds 27 grams (almost a full ounce) of weight from the front end of the truck. Once the race is over, simply reinstall the bumper and full bash protection is once again available!Black Front Bumper & Skid Plate

RPM's Traxxas Slash 4x4 front bumper design eliminates the bumper support ring and the 4 screws behind the stock bumper while using a thicker skid design to supply the cushioning resistance a basher-proof bumper needs. By eliminating the stock bumper support ring, absolutely no frontal impact crash energy is transferred into the upper half of the differential housing. We supply longer bumper mounting screws as well, so any impact energy from down low has less of a tendency to pull the mounting screws out from the bottom half of the differential housing. With an RPM impact-absorbing front bumper installed, the energy transferred from frontal impacts will be greatly reduced as well.

                                    

 

  

 

 

 

Traxxas Slash 4x4 Rear Bumper with Mud Flaps (Installed)

 


Included in this Pro Bashers Traxxas Slash roller set up is the new RPM rear bumper, which is modeled after full-sized short course and desert racing trucks for authentic scale realism.  This new mounting system has the perfect blend of rigidity and flexibility to absorb those nasty rear collisions without transferring huge amounts of impact energy into the more fragile components of the chassis. Additionally, with its twin hinge point mounting system, rear A-arm maintenance is a snap. Simply remove the two bottom-mounted flathead screws and the bumper swivels out of the way for easy access to the rear A-arms! It even allows the rear sway bar to stay in place!

 

RPM also incorporated a thicker skid plate design that does a fantastic job of protecting the rear end and lower mounting screws from harsh conditions such as gravel and asphalt impacts. The RPM lower mount / skid plate is over 35% thicker than the stock version!

 

What more could we do to make these things incredibly realistic? How about mud flaps? That’s right; these Roller comes with RPM mud flaps installed!

Nerf Bars for the Traxxas Slash & Slash 4x4 (Installed)


Black Nerf BarsNerf bars play an extremely important function in the overall durability of a Short Course racer by protecting the sides of the chassis and fragile body of the truck. A weak nerf bar can expose the body and chassis to severe impact damage from side impacts, roll over’s and T-bone crashes, just to name a few.

RPM has once again stepped up to make the most durable and well-designed nerf bar for the Traxxas Slash 4x4. The RPM nerf bar eliminates the stock hook-over-the-chassis that supports the nerf bar and replaced it with a structural cross rib running parallel to the chassis for optimum rigidity and anti-deformation characteristics. By eliminating the hook, installation is easier; the nerf bar doesn’t have to be deformed to get it in position and the nerf bar no longer pulls on the side of the chassis when it takes a hit.

We also switched to a full round radius in the compression area of the nerf bar. The stock trapezoidal shape forces too much impact energy into the tiny corner radii near the body support area, usually ending in a break. The RPM nerf bars’ full corner radii are huge in comparison and allow a progressive compression of the nerf bar while distributing the impact energy over a much larger area, preventing breakage by design.

 

 

 

 

Upgraded Traxxas Shock Springs (Installed)

With 20% stiffer than the stock Traxxas Slash shock springs, you no longer have to worry about constantly getting bottoming out on every bumps!

                 

 

 

Crystal-clear plastic gear cover (Installed)

Crystal-clear plastic gear cover is just as durable as the stock cover, but lets you see the gear mesh for easy, no-tool inspection.

         

 

Complete set of Stainless Steel Screws (Installed)

Except for the shock shoulder screws, all of the standard Traxxas black screws have been replaced with our custom made Stainless Steel Screws.  Not only it's rust proof, stronger, but gives our customized Pro Basher Slash simply looks amazing!
