2008 Gibson Flying V Electric Guitar in very good condition with some light playwear and a couple of marks on the front. The back has some minor wear marks and dings. Nice worn cherry finish on the mahogany body and neck with a white pickguard and chrome hardware. The guitar has a nice action and the slim taper neck with a rosewood fretboard and mother of pearl dot inlays has a great feel. The frets are smooth and in very good condition. Serial Number: 001180639 Weight: 6 lbs. 15 oz. The faded finish gives it the look of a seasoned performer. The Gibson Faded Flying V was born to rock. When the original V came out in '58, it was ahead of its time. When it was reissued 9 years later, it became a favorite of progressive rockers and still is to this day. This Faded Flying V has all the features and specs of the '67 model and the look of a guitar that has been loved and cared for since those early days.
The upgraded Seymour Duncan passive pickups have an aggressive tone with plenty of output. The guitar is equipped with a tune-o-matic bridge, stop bar tailpiece and Gibson Deluxe green key tuners. Looks, plays and sounds great.
Includes the original Gibson gig bag. Made in the USA.
