The item for sale is what I believe is the top of an old WW2?? era theodolite level that is in a good used condition but due to age and use is being sold as seen so please study the photos as they form part of the description and to satisfy yourself what you will be receiving.

This does have wear,scuffs,paint loss and tarnishing associated with age and use with some sticker residue present on the front brass ring.

The optics are very clear considering its age with a good image though there is a light film of dirt seen inside the eye piece glass - no graticules present.

The image adjusting works by turning the aluminium knob which does adjust ok but the image is seen upside down.

There is a bubble level which works fine with fluid and a bubble seen inside and a scale on the side with the rear one reading Div = 30" - the cover for the bubble level flips out and has a tarnished mirror for viewing the level from behind.

Overall this is 255mm long.

Not sure of the age of this whether its WW1 or WW2 I do not know.

Surprisingly no makers name that I can see but is possibly ER.Watts.

Will be posted using a cardboard box.
