The Loft is the name given to the structure in which we house racing pigeons We believe the name was coined by the old Belgian fanciers of Liege who actually kept their birds in the lofts (attics)of their homes. However, the continental practice of housing pigeons did not catch on in this country where the vast majority of fanciers preferred to construct separate buildings for their birds and erect them in their back gardens.....

This 180 page hardback book is very well used but intact. For the following reasons the price of this book is low:

There is a brown strip inside the front and back cover left by the removal of sticky tape. There are stains on the following pages but the text is not affected: Pages 47-48, 20-21, 63-64 and l08-109 – see photographs taken from the book. There are black and white illustrations/drawings throughout.
