Book - Renault 4

This new 96 page hardback book with German text published by Motorbuch Verlag is mainly based on a compilation of original brochures and other advertising material covering the Renault 4 from 1961 to 1994.  

The book features 109 colour photos plus a further 33 b/w. Chapters in the book look at the previous small Renault cars; early prototypes & designs; model range - early R3, 4, 4L, F4 Van, Parisienne, Sinpar 4x4, Plein Air convertible, Rodeo, 4TL, F6 Van, Safari, 4GTL, Savane; motorsport - rallying & circuit racing; year by year chronology of model development; kit cars & customised versions. There are further sections on scale models, retro concept designs and 2 pages of technical/production details. 

It is an excellent pictorial history of the Renault 4. Despite the German text, an enthusiast would find this book a valuable addition to their collection.
