This very rare KENTUCKY DERBY, LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY action water decal was recently discovered in our archives and is offered for your consideration.
Produced in 1951 by OZARK GIFT HOUSE of MONTGOMERY CITY, MO, this one-of-a-kind decal was probably produced to commemorate the Derby win of COUNT TURF, and was a popular souvenir of the time. The great artwork perfectly captures all the action and excitement of Derby Day!
The decal measures 4" wide by 2 1/2" tall and is in excellent condition with just minor creasing and curving. However, due to its age and rarity, we suggest this decal not be water dipped, but kept as-is as the centerpiece of a vintage collection.
