Here is one of a number of items which belonged to the Earl of Yarborough Estate ..all of which came in together from a country house estate live auction. Ideal if you are either related to the family or area or you just collect Hunting related antiques.   
Here is an antique sterling silver topped steel corkscrew which has the very tip MISSING.
Do not let that put you off... if you are into FOX HUNTING or antique Asprey & Co of London silver items then this is for you.
The model of the fox is solid silver...its in a SLY motion on top of the silver sheet.... then its attached to the corkscrew.
Hallmarks on the underside of the sheet... A&Co Ltd London 1933.
It is fairly chunky as corkscrews go being 4 and half inch overall length ... the fox is stood on the silver sheet which is 2 and half inch long x 3/4 inch wide.
The Fox is 2 and 3/4 inch long x 1 inch tall x nearly 3/4 inch wide.... the whole item weighs approx.......140 grams.
