Good Edward VII Solid Sterling Silver Inkstand & Glass Well Made By William Harrison Walter 

Description - Superb antique early 20th century Edwardian good gauge solid silver inkwell stand of oval bowl with gadrooned edge for raised on three feet.

Includes original Faceted Cut glass detachable inkwell with a solid silver mounted hinged lid and finial.

Both inkwell and stand Fully hallmarked with the anchor for Birmingham assay, the lion passant indicating 925 grade solid sterling silver, date letter "e" for the year 1904 (inkwell "d" for year 1903" and the maker's mark "W.H.W" which is William Harrison Walter 


Condition - Both the Stand and Bottle both in excellent condition,
 
Dimensions & Weight -  14.5cm wide x  7cm high,

The sand is 60.7 grams, the inkwell is 79.5 grams.
