Lovely vintage paper quilled folk art flower basket with Victorian frame. This piece measures 13 3/4 inches x 11 3/4 inches including the frame. The paper quilling is done on some sort of velvety paper or fabric and shows some fading around the edges. This is under glass, shadow box style in lovely primitive folk art colors of cranberry, sage and cream. The design is intricate yet has a wonderful folk art feel. This is signed on the back: hand made by Thelma C. Moore, April 1975. The picture frame is wood with a gilt liner (shows wear) and the frame shows some light scuffing as well but has the original finish intact. Great piece for Folk Art lovers and would equally blend nicely with Victorian décor.
