Please read ALL of the description before ordering - there are several different Cabasse type systems.

• Car Audio Aux-in / Line-in adapter – for directly wiring your iPod, iPhone, MP3 player, laptop, etc. to your RENAULT CABASSE car audio system, as an additional high quality audio input.
  
  
• Enables the highest possible sound quality, for a 3.5mm stereo jack input, far superior to any of the FM transmitter type adapters on the market. The adapter plugs at one end directly into the Cabasse amplifier unit, and is finished at the other end with a high quality gold plated 3.5 mm stereo mini-jack plug, suitable for all iPod models and the vast majority of MP3 players, laptops etc.
  
  
• The adapter is a generous ca. 4.5 - 5 meters long, to reach from a boot (trunk)- or underseat-mounted Cabasse unit to the front of the car, and is made using only high quality digital grade, OFC, stereo audio cable, and OEM connectors, with all connections soldered, crimped, and insulated. Alternative lengths, finishes, and designs, may be available to order.
  
  
• It provides for AUX- audio input only, so does not charge an iPod, iPhone, or anything else.
  
  An audio & charging version of the adapter is available, specifically for iPod & iPhone connection, to order - contact seller for details, and an eBay listing.
  
  
• Installation is a straightforward 'Plug & Play', but will require from ca. 30 minutes, up to ca. 2 - 3 hours, depending upon how and where you install & route the cable. Installation instructions are provided for connection of the adapter to the Cabasse amplifier unit, but not for routing the cable, which is a matter of choice, and depends upon where the Cabasse unit is located in your car model.
  
  

Please note:

• This adapter is designed for certain specific Renault Cabasse systems, and will NOT work with any other Renault system.
  
  
• Your Cabasse system MUST have the AUX option listed in the headunit menu (with settings of ON, OFF, or AUTO), and you must have the separate Cabasse tuner - amp unit, installed under the rear seat, or in the boot area - PLEASE CHECK BEFORE ORDERING.
  
  
• With the adapter fitted, the radio / headunit will control the audio signal (volume, bass, treble, balance, etc.), but not control an iPod, iPhone, or MP3 player, for track or playlist selection, etc.
  
  
• If you are in any doubt whatsoever regarding suitability of this product for your system, please contact seller before purchasing.
  
  
• If you have one of the other types of Cabasse system, please enquire with details - various alternatives are available, including charging versions, but must often be custom built to order.
