This is a Pioneer 300-disc CD changer with optical out. It's new and unused in the original box, physically mint with no damage, but when I unwrapped it and tried to test it, it wouldn't read CDs.

Some wear to the box. No manual or remote. Part of the internal styrofoam support structure is broken off. I'll pack it in a second box to avoid more wear to the original box.

I pack very securely in thick cardboard containers, custom-built for each item. Anything even slightly delicate will be secured with shock-absorbent foam. If I'm shipping something that breaks easily, like glassware or a boombox, I'll double-box it with two ridiculously thick layers of padding.
