Gotoh Wilkinson VSVG Vintage Tremolo Nickel Steel Block

This is a brand new Wilkinson VSVG vintage strat tremolo in nickel made by Gotoh. These items are brand new, have a string spacing of 2 1/8", but with vintage 2 7/32" " hole spacing at the front of the bridge for a drop in fit for USA vintage 6-hole trems.   Includes the bridge, press in bar, and all hardware necessary to install, the works.

These bridges are the result of many requests from marquee LA players who wanted the performance and stability of the legendary VS100 but with vintage appointments, tone, and feel.  Replicating the size, weight, and materials of the original '54 trem wasn't too hard. Eliminating the tuning headaches took a complete rethink on the design. 

The VSVG improvements on the vintage 6-hole trem are numerous, so here we go: 

• 5 elongated knife-edge holes. The elongated holes eliminate binding on the screw. The 6th hole is traditional, keeping the bridge positioned properly.  This ingenious design provides the same smooth return-to-zero, get-back-in-tune functionality as the VS100.
• Specially designed locking bent steel saddles for vintage tone and sparkle, the unique front roll with recessed adjustment screws give it a smooth, comfortable feel.  The locking mechanism increases tuning stability, improves intonation, and transfers string energy very efficiently
• Staggered string hole pattern in a steel block.  This produces a consistent angle over the saddles and increase tuning stability. The steel block does its thing here, as well, giving your guitar back all the chime and overtones stolen by zinc/pot metal blocks.
