Genuine New Polymer Bank of England Five Pound Note (Misprint)

Serial AK42 067913

This £5 note is missing the Elizabeth Tower (Big Ben).

I think this is how it happened:

During the printing process of the new five pound note, prior to the application of the Queens hologram, when the foil was added it somehow failed to adhere to the note and this removed the Elizabeth tower (Big Ben) hologram and left only a smeared portion of the foil strip on the note. This resulted in a misprinted note lacking the Elizabeth tower and only possessing part of the foil strip (as can be clearly seen in the last photo).

Checks to show this is a genuine note.
The note has the correct raised ink printing in the correct places such as the words ‘Bank of England’ and in the bottom right corner, around the number 5.

The note has an identical pattern to other notes.

The note displays a hidden 5 when subjected to UV light.

This note is in good condition, but not mint, as it has been previously folded.
