Pr McIntosh MC-40 Tube Ampliers, Original, Low Hours, Very Clean

S/N: 133 L7 & 215 L1.

Both amplifiers are clean with no rust and intact tube designations printed on the chassis deck, high percentage of the printing on the front panel, high percentage of printing on rear panel.

Both amplifiers are stock with no modifications, or repairs.

Amplifier 133 L7:

Amplifier has two #8 size holes on rear side of the bottom pan, the result of a property tag. Only visible from no logo side of amplifier.

Amplifier has a pair of close matched vintage American production 6L6GC tubes (see Amplitrex test results in photo). 9 pin tubes are: pair Telefunken 12AX7, RCA Command series 5814 (military specifications 12AU7), NOS GE 12BH7

M-224 output transformer, M-225 power transformer.

Printing on front panel is all intact. Real panel is 80% intact. Production code ink stamped at front of top deck is intact.

Amplifier 215 L1:

Amplifier has two holes on top deck next to the 12AX7.

Amplifier has a pair of close matched vintage American production 6L6GC tubes (see Amplitrex test results in photo). 9 pin tubes are: Ampererex 12AX7 and 1950's Tung-Sol, Raytheon NOS 1950s production, black plate 12AU7.

M-224 output transformer, M-225 power transformer.

Printing on rear panel is 85% intact, front panel printing is all intact. Production code ink stamped at front of top deck is intact.

Tube Packing - Domestic and Outside US: Individual tubes (boxed or unboxed) will be wrapped with cardboard and bubblewrap and packed in strong cartons and shipped USPS Priority Mail with delivery confirmation. All shipment must be made with delivery confirmation service (tracking number) and insurance - For Example - USPS Priority Mail, UPS or FedEx Ground.

Shipping is via FedEx Ground, UPS, local pick-up, unless arrangement is made otherwise. Buyer pays shipping and $5 Handling Fee.
