Seller ID: bridport37 The pair of dishes are thinly potted and handpainted. Neatly decorated in underglaze cobalt blue with scrolling sweetpea flowers and tendrils on white ground. Circa: late 19th/early 20th Century. These are fine pieces, not the tacky, thickly potted and crudely/hastily decorated wares from provincial kilns. Marked on the bottom. Dia 5-3/4". Display stands are not included. Typical of used utilitarian porcelain, some degree of wear and/or glaze imperfection may be present, so please view the pics to evaluate.
