DESCRIPTION: Yes- The Yes Album. 1st UK press with matrix ending A1/B1, plum/red atlantic labels and gate fold sleeve with "Plastic Bags can Be Dangerous" poly lined inner (correct style but undated) . Packed this weighs over 500gm so overseas postage is as for a double. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Atlantic DELUXE 2400 101. YEAR OF RELEASE: 1971. COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): EX/VG. Vinyl is very clean with a nice sheen. Strong visual EX. Played majority of this tonight on my budget deck. Sits perfectly flat on the turntable. Plays EX. Music is clear, clean, vibrant and loud. Cover is in nice shape. It is an attractive darker shade than most copies. It is firm and square and has only light edge wear (2" fine split to centre of rear top edge, hence low grade) , moderate corner wear and light creasing. Really clean inside to gatefold. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE.
