Fabulous old French casket, dated to late 19th early 20th century. Made of blue opaline crystal glass, set into gilded brass mounts; has hinged lid (hinge works properly) and decorative clasp.

Simple yet elegant casket stands on four lion feet shy 3" (7.7 cm) high; 5 1/4" x 3 3/8" (13.4 x 8.5 cm) rectangular.

Condition is excellent considering age. No chips or cracks, no hairlines or breaks.
