These scarce, original and desirable Stock Certificates were issued by the company that owned the Titanic, International Mercantile Marine, which in turn was controlled by JP Morgan (the little pinhole cancellations spell "JPM & Co.").
Measuring an impressive 8" x 12", each certificate has the amount of shares engraved in the corners. Titanics with engraved shares in the corners are getting harder to find, particularly the kind offered here, which are in excellent condition!
Beautifully created using the ancient intaglio technique by the esteemed American Bank Note Co. (premier printer of American currency!), these steel-etched certificates are in great condition in spite of being nearly 3/4 of a Century old. You'll find the quality of these certificate to be much better than what's usually found online!
