Leider wurde die gesamte ESP Standard Series Modellpalette aus geschäftspolitischen Gründen aus dem ESP Programm genommen. Dies ist der letzte Lagerbestand (späte Lieferung vom Hersteller). Ansonsten ist dieses Modell inzwischen nur noch über eine Custom Shop Sonderanfertigung, zu einem mehr als doppelten Preis und bei Lieferzeiten von bis zu einem Jahr bestellbar.

Unfortunately, ESP discontinued the entire Standard Series model range, for business policy reasons. This is the final stock (late arrival from the manufacturer). Otherwise, this model is now only available through a Custom Shop order on regular basis, at a more than double the price tag and around a year waiting time.

  • Ein sehr beliebtes ESP Modell, mit absolut professionellen Features und einem hervorragenden Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.
  • Lackierung: See-Thru Black Cherry Sunburst, mit Black Nickel Hardware.
  • Korpus: Erle - für beste Resonanzeigenschaften, speziell bei verzerrten Sounds.
  • Decke: Riegelahorn - mit einer sehr intensiven Maserung in einer seltenen, gleichmäßigen, perfekten Qualität - vgl. Abbildungen - wobei diese die Tiefe der Maserung leider nur sehr bedingt widergeben: In der Realität sieht die Decke noch viel spektakulärer aus. Viele andere etablierte Gitarrenhersteller würden allein schon für eine Decke von dieser Güte einen Aufpreis verlangen, der dem Preis dieses kompletten Instruments nahe kommen würde.
  • Hals: Ahorn. "Thin U" Halsprofil - durch die matte Transparentlackierung auf der Rückseite sehr griffig und angenehm zu spielen. Durchgehende Halskonstruktion. Dadurch ein sehr gutes Sustain, und ein superleichter Zugang zu höheren Bünden.
  • Mensur: 25.5" (Standard).
  • Griffbrett: Ebenholz von bester Qualität, mit ESP „Double Shark Fin“ Inlays.
  • Bünde: 24, XJ (Jumbo) - perfekte Bundierarbeit, noch eine charakteristische Eigenschaft von ESP-Instrumenten.
  • Sattel: FR Locking, 42 mm (Standard).
  • Kopfplatte: ESP SV/M-Style - non-reverse.
  • Bindings: Weiß  (Hals und Kopfplatte). Ein dezent aber sehr edel aussehendes Instrument!

  • Brücke: Original Floyd Rose Tremolo. Absolut stimmstabil.
  • Tonabnehmer: 1x EMG 81 Aktivhumbucker (Brücke), sehr vielseitig einsetzbar, liefert jede Menge Output für druckvolle, aggressive Sounds, verträgt sich bestens mit tiefen Saitenstimmungen und ist dabei dank der aktiven Funktionsweise absolut nebengeräuscharm.
