THIS AUCTION IS FOR ONE 7 gram CONTAINER of SilClear CONTACT ENHANCER TREATMENT by MAPLESHADE. PLEASE READ ON FOR MORE DETAILS. THIS SMALL JAR IS ALL YOU NEED TO TREAT ABOUT 1000 CONNECTIONS!

Each container also comes with a special applicator brush as well as complete instructions from Mapleshade for use.

The secret is to use a very thin coating on the tube pins and interconnect male contacts.

For tubes, simply use a very thin coating on the tube pins, (not on the tube socket, just a very thin coating on the tube pins).

And for RCA plugs and jacks, treat the Center Pin on the plug, and the outside cylidrical metal surface of the female jack with a very thin coating of SilClear. That's it, very simple.

SilClear is the first-ever silver contact lube optimized for good sound, not thermal conductivity.

The secret is microscopically thin silver platelets (a millionth inch thin; 8 square feet of surface per gram!) to enhance beneficial skin effect.

The unique binder for these platelets is an ultra-pure, low dielectric absorption, foodgrade grease to minimize signal loss/smearing. The thinnest possible coating lasts 10 to 20 unpluggings. Comes in a 7-gram jar (with applicator) that treats 1000+ connectors.

To use, (FULL INSTRUCTIONS ARE INCLUDED WITH EACH CONTAINER) simply apply the thinest possible coating to the pins on your tubes with a special brush that come with SilClear. And if your AC power cable plugs into your equipment, you can also coat the equipment connector side of the AC power cable as well as the AC plug on the power cord.

This product is also very well suited for coating the connections on your interconnects. You will notice significant sonic improvements after coating the interconnect plugs.

I've had a week-or-so to check-out the effect of your products, the DuoDAMP tube Dampers and the SilClear tube-enhancement paste in several guitar amplifiers.

First, I typically don't write about sound products until I've had them for about a year. If I keep it a year, its gotta be good! If its not good, its gone!

The first test was to see if the tube dampers and tube-enhancement paste could make a really, REALLY great sounding guitar amp (Matchless SC-30 w NOS Tungsram EL84 output tubes), sound better. A tough test! The DuoDAMP dampers installed easily on EL84 output tubes and when placed directly over the tube's mica supports, quieted annoying tube rattle I was experiencing. Worth the price! The SilClear tube enhancer improved the fidelity as well. But I'm a tough-sell and I wanted to be "knocked-over".

Next, I used the SilClear tube-enhancer in my '65 black-face Vibrolux and '58 Fender tweed. WOW!!! I'm amazed at the sonic improvement the tube-enhancement product made. I'm totally "knocked-over" by this product! The vintage amp output is more balanced and there is a huge improvement in fidelity. My vintage tube amps with the SilClear tube-enhancer sound like I've never heard them before!
