Crafted from plush and silky and air-light fox fur in cream and soft cocoa, this ultra-glamorous piece features a three-part horizontal design and a one-hook closure. Fully lined in silvery satin with pocket ends. No monogram--rare for vintage!

~~SIZE~~
Size unmarked, so please go by the measurements: across the bust when closed, 24"; end-to-end measured along the inside, 48"; widest width of lining, 13.5". For reference, my mannequin (with arms) is a tall size 4.

~~CONDITION~~
The fur is in excellent pre-owned condition, clean and silky, without noticeable signs of wear or scents beyond the faintest-ever vintage scent, will dissipate very quickly with airing. It's hard to know the original color of vintage fur and it's possible there has been a touch of oxidation over the years, but overall very bright and lovely. The lining is very clean and in wonderful shape; all I can find is a small ballpoint mark, a few extremely faint smudges, and three very small areas of friction to the fabric (tiny separations or breaks in the threading where the black crossweave threads show through--we're talking like 1/8" to 1/4", extremely minor). This gorgeous piece will lend movie-star glam to your formal event, your perfect wedding, or even jeans and heels for a retro look.

**A note about buying pre-owned furs: Part of what gives vintage items their charm and personality is their sense of history. I inspect all of my items very closely and mention any issues I come across in the item description, but please keep in mind that all pre-loved furs--even those in excellent or near-new condition--will show some signs of wear, such as tiny nicks or smudges. In most cases, I don't have information about previous owners and how they cared for or stored the coat, or prior repairs (if any), so the coat's current state is what I go by in my descriptions. That said, I have very high standards and spend far more time inspecting every inch of my coats and describing in detail even the most minor signs of wear than most online sellers you'll encounter, who use the term "vintage" to describe a very wide range of conditions--when you purchase a coat from me, you know exactly what you are buying.
