This elegant pheasant was made, pre war, by the German manufacturer Heyde

The detail in the model and the sense of movement is exceptional

I have been told by Dave that that the breed is either a Golden Pheasant or a Lady Amhurst Pheasant

The bird dates from between 1900 and 1945

It is in complete, undamaged and original condition and is very rare indeed

Some of the claws are bent and there is some rubbing and paint loss as you can see in the photos

The bird is a larger scale than Britains and measures approx 76 mm or just under 3 inches long
