About us
Plumbits was started in September 1984 originally there was just the downstairs Trade Counter selling Plumbing and Central Heating products to the trade and retail. In 1993 the premises were extended to include two extra floors, the middle floor being the Bathroom Showroom.
The company motto is ‘Good old fashioned service at good old fashioned prices’ We can supply anything from a 10p tap washer to a £10,000 bathroom suite.
People come from many miles to visit out trade counter for fittings and components you will struggle to find anywhere else and to receive that old fashioned type of service, which many of the larger companies have forgotten about!

Orders placed before 2pm are processed for dispatch on the same day.
If we receive an order after this time, it is dispatched with the following days orders. No orders are dispatched on weekends or bank holidays.
We send all out items on as Royal Mail 24 unless upgraded to a courier service (see below)

1-2 working days please note this is not a guaranteed next day service, on rare occasions delivery can take up to 15 working days.
Royal Mail 24 is not a guaranteed next day service and items are not classed as lost until 15 working days after their due date but if your item is urgent we do offer a next day TRACKED courier service.
If you choose ‘get it fast’ and upgrade to our courier service, we send all out items on UK Mail Next day service

Deliveries are sent on a next day service within mainland UK (Scottish Highlands 2 days), this is not a guaranteed service and may take longer.
