Here is a Cagiva starter sprag gear goes behind the magneto allows the starter gear to spin one way & grip the other this is a very common problem on these bikes. If your starter motor is spinning but your engine is only turning over slowly then this is probably the problem as they start to slip when worn. This is brand new & will also fit a River & W16 I have also been told that they fit some ducatis as well but I do not know.
